Re: Master-Redundancy &AP FAST FAILOVER

Only VRRP is supported for master redundancy :  http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_65x_WebHelp/Web_Help_Index.htm#ArubaFrameStyles/VRRP/HighAvOverView.htm#Master-R

If you have two master-redundant controllers that terminate APs, only use VRRP (not fast failover) between them.  Do not configure any HA profiles.

Re: Master-Redundancy &AP FAST FAILOVER

Can I understand that?

master-local: active-active Required to configure HA group-profile

master-redundancy: active-standby deployment is not required

thanks

Re: Master-Redundancy &AP FAST FAILOVER

Correct.  Just point the access points at the VRRP for master redundancy.

Controller-B

master-vrrp 81peer-ip-address 172.21.12.3 ipsec aruba123

should be  peer-ip-address 172.21.12.2  ??????
