Master-Redundancy &AP FAST FAILOVER

In my network , I have two controllerMaster-redundant deployment

configuration bellow:

Controller-A

interface loopback

ip address 172.21.12.4

controller-ip loopback

int vlan 81ip address 172.21.12.2 255.255.252.0

vrrp 81

priority 110

ip address 172.21.12.1

vlan 81

preempt delay 0

no shutdown

master-redundancy

master-vrrp 81peer-ip-address 172.21.12.3 ipsec aruba123

 

Controller-B

interface loopback

ip address 172.21.12.5

controller-ip loopback

int vlan 81

ip address 172.21.12.3 255.255.252.0

vrrp 81

priority 90

ip address 172.21.12.1

vlan 81

no shutdown

master-redundancy

master-vrrp 81peer-ip-address 172.21.12.3 ipsec aruba123

 

config finish data can synchronization

Controller-A role:Master

Controller-B role:standby

 

I config AP Fast Failover on Controller-A

HA group-profile "HA-grp1"

Controller 172.21.12.4 <must controoler-ip?>role active

Controller 172.21.12.5 role standby

ha group-membership HA-grp1

AP system-profile "floor-1"

LMS IP 172.21.12.4 <must controller-ip?>

Backup LMS IP 172.21.12.5

Please tell me my configuration about "AP Fast Failover"

is it right or not ?thanks very much

Only VRRP is supported for master redundancy :  http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_65x_WebHelp/Web_Help_Index.htm#ArubaFrameStyles/VRRP/HighAvOverView.htm#Master-R

 

If you have two master-redundant controllers that terminate APs, only use VRRP (not fast failover) between them.  Do not configure any HA profiles.

Can I understand that?

master-local: active-active Required to configure HA group-profile

master-redundancy: active-standby deployment is not required

Correct.  Just point the access points at the VRRP for master redundancy.
