Amigopod report hangs at X%

Symptom :


When running an Amigopod report, the report gets stuck at a certain percentage and never finishes.

Cause :


The PHP process that is used to generate the report has run out of memory. This is more likely to happen when reporting on many days of historical records. For example, a 30 day report may generate with no problems but a 100 day report may get stuck.

 Resolution :


Raise the PHP memory limit from Administrator -> System Control -> Web Application. The default in 3.5+ is 256MB. Please raise this until the report completes successfully. Keep in mind that if you raise it too high and if a report generation consumes all of that memory, other Amigopod services will be affected.
