ClearPass Onboard issue – Unable to upload certificate manually

Issue :


I’m trying to add all the intermediate CA’s from my server cert to the list of trusted certificates at Guest » Onboard + WorkSpace » Onboard/MDM Configuration » Network Settings » Trust. 

When I try to upload my Terena SSL CA I get the following error: “Database query error (f9c716c2)”. 

When I then save the config and try adding the CA cert again I get “NwaMdpsConfig with id 2 not found”. 

If I delete the network settings and start again the same happens but the id of the second error increases. 

I am trying to add this certs manually because of issues with IOS7 devices.


This error is seen when we try to upload the certificate as shown below.




Error seen is  : Database query error (f9c716c2)

We must add the trust certificates from "Management and control ->view by certificate -> upload a trusted certificate "

We would be  able to upload the certificate successfully and resolve the Onboarding issues with IOS 7 devices.

I am also having this problem. Did anyone find a solution?

Still having this issue occasionally, but now on 6.6..


Database query error even after reboot.
