This Article explains about adding a new username field and map phone number to it. One phone number should allow only one session.
Environment : This article best suits for CPPM 6.2 version.
Navigate to "Home » Configuration » Guest Self-Registration" and select the profile which we are using. Once we select it, click on "Edit" as shown below.
After going to Edit mode, click on "Form" As shown below.
Click on any available field ( i preferred Start_time) and change filed name to user name as shown in below screen shot.
Configure field name as username and edit label and description as per your requirement.
From drop down option select Validphonenumber function
Now as we have edited Phone number to act as UserName, we can disable Phone number field to stand on your requirement.
Now the Username field is updated as shown below.
To avoid Guests create multiple account with same phone number, we need to add and edit auto_update_account as shown in below capture.
Configure auto_update_account initial value to “zero”. Configuring initial value to “zero” auto_update_account function will execute Unsuccessful termination for exit(); evaluates to a non-zero value, when client will try to perform the operation with same argument . And it will show the error as “ This user is already exists” as shown in below screen shot.
Navigate to "Home » Configuration » Guest Self-Registration" and select the profile which we are using. Once we select it, click on "Go To" as shown below.
Provide a valid phone number and Register.
After registering, we would get the receipt as shown below.
If we try to register with same phone number, it will throw an error message as shown below.
