How can I enable guest self-registration only in working hours?
Guest self-registration can be restricted to working hours with the help of "Time Access" option available in the self-registration page.
The time based guest self-registration can be enabled under ClearPass Guest >> Configuration >> Guest Self-Registration page >> Edit >> Rename Page/Basic Properties >> Time Access, as shown below.
Times in the above field must be entered in 24-hours clock format.
Few examples are:
Mondays and Friday 8:00 to 18:00
Weekdays 10:00 to 18:00 and Weekends 6:00 to 21:00
Users accessing the guest self-registration page out of allowed duration will be presented with the default error,
Guest registration is not currently enabled.
The above error can be edited under Guest self-registration page >> Edit >> Disabled Messages.
Existing/already-registered guest users authentication can be restricted with the data/time based enforcement policy in the Policy Manager Service as shown below,
