Import Configuration files bigger than 15 MB to CPG

Environment : This Article is written  for CPPM 6.2.0 and greater.

 

While migrating from CPG 3.9 tp CPPM 6.X, the suggested steps is to take a backup on the current 3.9 CPG and restore it on the 6.x CPG.

We can easily restore the configuration file upto 15MB as shown below.

Navigate to "Home » Administration » Import Configuration » Import Configuration".

If the file size is greater than 15 MB we can force CPPM to allow file size up to 256 MB as shown below.

Navigate to "Administration » Server Manager » Server Configuration - Aruba_CPPM_6.2"

and change the below configuration.

Increase the Form Post size from 15 ( Default) to 256.

Now, we can upload a file with size up to 256 MB.

If the file size is even greater than 256 MB, We can use " Restore Backup From URL" as shown in the above screen capture.

We can use any of the URL. This option will allow us to upload the file of any size.
