Stale Guest entries on Amigopod

Question : We are currently having an issue with our ClearPass Guest Appliance, we currently have 220 guest accounts but the report of concurrent sessions lists over 4000 connections therefore when trying to troubleshoot issues of connectivity for users we cannot accurately say how many connections we have at any one time.

Cause : This happens because the stale entries from the Amigopod Guest Application is not getting removed.


Removing the stale entries manually can be a work around but the root cause is wrong configuration on NAS device.

If the NAS device is a Cisco WLC, below can be a configuration error.


Account server is enabled without any accounting servers configured in all/one other SSID/s.

Once we disable the Account server this issue will be addressed.
