When airgroup server is integrated with CPPM (ClearPass Policy Manager) , it sends out RADIUS requests to authenticate all the AirGroup devices it can see. If the devices are registered with CPPM server, then CPPM responds with RADIUS accept and includes the configured shared location attributes, shared user list, shared role list etc. in the RADIUS accept packet. Once controller receives the RADIUS accept for an AirGroup devices, it populates its CPPM entries tables with the device mac along with the attributes received.Four (4) new vendor specific attributes have been added for AirGroup on CPPM server.
NOTE: Changes in the sharing attributes on CPPM are conveyed to AirGroup controller using RFC 3576 CoA requests.
