Disabling Ap

Hi Guys ,

Is there a way i can disable some of my access points , the requirement is not to give network access in specified location for a specified time period

You can do this by putting the access points in an ap-group that turns the radio off:

config t
rf dot11a-radio-profile test
no radio enable
exit
rf dot11g-radio-profile test
no radio enable
exit
ap-group no-radio
dot11a-radio-profile test
dot11g-radio-profile test


After you do that, provision the access point to the ap-group "no-radio" by going to Configuration> Wireless> AP Installation.

With that being said, it is hard to 100% deny access due to the way that RF propagates.
