Disabling DHCP broadcast on AP105

I connect into the console port of an AP105 and give the device an IP address but when the device starts to reboot all I see in the console is DHCP broadcsat 1 then 2 then so on. Does any on know the setenv parameter to disable dhcp. Thanks.

That shouldn't happen if you have a static IP. Did you do the command "saveenv" after you set the IP address?

Yes I did. Is the command setenv ipaddr xxx.xxx.xxx? I did do a saveenv after.

Yes, that is the command. The four important ones are:

setenv ipaddr x.x.x.x
setenv netmask x.x.x.x
setenv gatewayip x.x.x.x
saveenv

After that, do a "printenv" and make sure all of the fields are set correctly. If they are, reboot the AP, stop the boot sequence again and do "printenv". If it is still set to the correct IP, you should open a TAC case.
