Converting IAP back and forth

You can convert an iAP to a controller based (thin) AP by navigating through the WEBUI on the iAP and finding the 'convert' tab under the maintenance menu. Simply populate the IP address within the iAP for the controller you want the AP to communicate with and it will connect and automatically convert itself.

To restore iAP functionality (from thin mode) you need to gain physical access to the iAP and use the reset button on the back of the unit (with a paperclip or equivalent)

I convert the IAP-92 to thin AP by your step but it's not complete
it show on controller but it is "UI" I check status of the IAP-92 via console and
I found that show Erasing BootEnv ..........

Re: I want to convert the IAP to campus AP

- Not sure if that message is unusual or not. Just provision the AP that came up onto the controller into the right group and it should work.

If that fails, please open a support case.
