One AP Failed Over to Local but other APs still in Master

Hi Airheads,

Is there any way to find out why an AP (only one AP) failed over to the local Controller but other AP's which are in the same vlan are still registered to the Master? It's kinda weird behavior because all my licenses are still sufficient and there is no problem with layer 2 or layer 3. Both Master and Local have AP's registered to them as they are in different locations separated via layer 3. I know there is a debug for this but I just can't find the right one. Please help. Thank you in advance.

I would check the 'show ap debug counters' command on the CLI. See how the AP in question is behaving...is there a larger number (magnitude?) of bootstraps vs. the other APs ?

Also, is 'pre-emption' enabled in your AP system profile ? That would enable APs to 'fail' from one controller to another and 10 mins later, 'un-fail' back to the original controller.
