Other vendor WAP's?

I was not sure where to post this so hopefully this area of the forum will work. I have a Crestron lighting control system that has its own controller and WAP's. It has been requested that their entire system be put on the Aruba equipment. The crestron controller hands out the ip's to the waps which relays the information to wireless av equipment. The controller is also the server that houses all the applications.

Is there anyway to move that to our wireless network? I would think the answer would be yes if those wap's can be set to receive DHCP addresses.

Thanks!

Yes

This is possible.

The controller would need to either have a trunk or access port on the VLAN of the crestron. You would create a virtual AP or wireless network that matches that of the existing crestron devices on the Aruba and place it in its own AP group. You can even have the Aruba controller provide DHCP for that VLAN, as well.

Thanks for your response. I will give it a try and see how it works.
