RAP5 connection error

Hello, I am trying to get a RAP5 to connect to my 3200 controller. I have the RN code on the controller and can get the RAP5 to connect locally, but not over a DSL connection into my network.

I am getting a RC_ERROR_IKEP1 on the initial provisioning screen.

Re: RAP5 connection error

Hi Chris,

You can find a listing of these codes in the release notes, this particular error means that the system hasn't been able to reach the controller to establish the tunnel. It may be that a firewall is blocking the system, you might also want to reset the RAP to make sure that it's got the right IP/host name for the controller. The message from the release notes is:

RC_ERROR_IKEP1 - All - No reply to 1st IKE packet (controller could be unreachable)
