Aruba CLI

Status: New

Hi all;

Is there a way to configure Aruba core devices (MM) on the CLI alone and if so where could I find the commands or is the same as Cisco commands.

Thanks in adv.

Community shared documents

Status: New
by MVP MVP ‎11-04-2015 10:29 AM

Thought came to me after seeing a @cappali document on comparing juniper vs cisco vs aruba switches.

Why not have a central place here where community members can share these types of documents. Separate obviously from Aruba.

It will lead to more discussion about networking in general and help us Airheads make better use of the tools we have in front of us

It has happened on a few occasions where for example an IAP firmware was pulled from the support site without notifications even though we or maybe others have upgraded to use this version.

For example, IAP and was pulled.

I would like to see a notification, I don't need details, just a simple notification that it was pulled. If we/I want details I'll ask my SE or TAC.

Can this be possible? Through Airheads? Through some other means?

Text is too light

I'm not sure what happened on the web, but some art director somewhere decided that light grey text on a white background looked cool.

That may be true, but for some of us, it makes the text very hard to read. I've got to say that this site is one of the worst I've ever seen. The text of posts is just too light. Can you darken it up a bit (or a lot)?

Thank you.

We manage 105  Aruba 650 controllers that are traveling weekly to different locations . These controllers connect back to our enterprise via ipsec tunnels.  I would be nice if Airwave could poll the expirations dates of the certs installed on mobility ccontroller.

It'd be nice if a switch and/or controller's reboot could be scheduled.

Airheads presentation

Status: New
by Serge ‎05-23-2014 09:08 AM
Hi everyone,
I personally appreciated all the conferences, but I noticed that there was no way to access the documentation of each presentation. I'm telling you this because if everybody could retrieve, in real time during the presentation, the documents of a conference, they would be more engaged with the content of each presentation.
Let me suggest you use TagMyDoc is a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) startup that wants to revolutionize the way people can access the most up-to-date documents without the need of installing a mobile app or accessing a website via a login. To be straight forward, this easy-to-use technology is a pretty cool tool for speakers and event planners that helps engage the audience through real-time content distribution.

Enhancement request community button

It would be a great idea to have that button in here!

As we cannot post idea for new products or to suggest things for the ones that arubanetworks already got, well could be a good idea putting that button here, like create case, and download firmware.

A forum APP for Windows phone

Status: New
by MVP MVP ‎01-29-2014 06:21 AM - edited ‎01-29-2014 06:22 AM

I have a Windows phone and I would like to have an APP that would permit me to get notifications on posts that I'm interested.

When I go to my profile, I can show all of my posts, but I'd like to be able to filter, or click on something so that it only shows 'Post started by me' and also maybe my posts that have been accepted as solutions.

I am relatively new to Aruba Networks, and used the search to see if an application existed in my iPad/iPhone for an Aruba Networks application to use when in the lab to carry with me to reference material for configuration. Does Aruba have an app for that?

Thank you for submitting this idea! As an FYI, the Airheads Social community is mobile browser friendly. Please try it out on your mobile phone browser if you haven't had the chance to do so already.

It would be too much asking making a gereral discution forum in which we can talk about anything? or is not part of the vision of airheads social?

I wanted to post a tread about Cisco Buying meraki and i got no where to post it

HI NightShade1, Thank you for your feedback. Currently, our discussion boards are focused on technical topics. We'd love to hear more from the community to see if this type of non-technical board will be utilized. Should we start with an industry focused board, or a general social board covering all topics (within reason)?

Please consider to have the COTD page rejuvenates!

Getting access to useful commands is the bread and butter of any network engineer’s life.

I have learned so many tricks in COTD.

I have been seeing a lot of questions related to Aruba Instant, and hence I would suggest having a single bucket where all the questions related to Instant can fall into.

Thanks for considering.
