All IAP105 become virtual controller when power blackout and resume back again.

My customer having problem when the power blackout and resume back again all of the (14 units) IAP 105 become virtual controller and it broadcast is own SSID, because when log in to VC (virtual controller) web console, all other IAP doesn't join to VC. Does it have any prevention method or any other solution to solve this issue when all IAP-105 up  at the same time and power resume back again? Instead of power on first IAP105 let it become VC first then power on the rest of the IAP-105.

Please advise.

There should be an election and only ONE AP should be the VC.  Can you collect the logs from two of the access points that became VCs on the same network?  Did he have a static Virtual VC ip address assigned?

Yes, have assigned the static ip address for the VC. I suspect the all the IAP-105 coincidence can't find the VC then elect itself as a VC.

How to collect the logs from IAP? Through syslog? Because my customer doesn't syslog server ready.

Those IAP-105 not a VC, does it keep the IP address of the VC, right? Either power failure or reboot the IAP.

You should be able to collect them from Support> Tech Support dump.

If the AP is a VC (Master) it should keep and answer to the static ip address of the VC.  If it is not the VC master, it should NOT keep the address of the VC.

Is there anything on the local network that would block a wired broadcast?

If IAP can't find the VC (master) does it will elect itself as a VC? Coincidently all IAP up at the same time except the VC (master) it up lately. For your info all IAP are on the same VLAN same network.

Does the IAP keep slave VC IP address?

IAP it reply on what port to do the broadcast?
