Re: IAP 225 & IAP 325 Processors

Thankyou  colin for  your response  .

can you tell us  which  is better in terms of  processing between  IAP-225 & IAP-325  as  i can  see  better RAM  in  IAP-225 but  probably  better processor in  IAP-325

There is nothing really that can be derived from the CPU and Memory.

Please see the comparison page here:  http://www.arubanetworks.com/products/networking/access-points/compare/#29199,19347

The AP325 can handle 802.11ac wave 2 clients and it has a built in bluetooth beacon that can either serve as a beacon, or manage other bluetooth beacons.  Please see the AP325 datasheet here: http://www.arubanetworks.com/assets/ds/DS_AP320Series.pdf

Re: IAP 225 & IAP 325 Processors

how can we say  that  nothing can be derived from  RAM and  processor  ...dosnt that count for  better performance   and capability

Thank you

Proper design is really the most important piece.

Re: IAP 225 & IAP 325 Processors

yes  sure design is very  important  but think  if i have  planned well but  with  an AP  having  16kb of ram with  a very  poor processor ..than  do  you  think  that  my  design  or  planning is going to make any   difference  obviously not  .

Please tell me  in the light of your experience/knowledge that  325 with  low memory  (256Mb ram) will  give  better  performance  or 225  with  comparatively (512mb) high  memory will  do better  performance , processors should also  be considered  .

you can  assume  that  i have  no  11ac clients only  11b/g/n clients are  present ...

Re: IAP 225

How many clients per cell in your design?

Re: IAP 225

i am  planning  60  clients  per AP  ..but  its not what  i am  thinking of ...i am  trying  to  plan for the situation  when  density of  user per IAP increase  drastically so in such  situation  a  giant  AP (better  performance/capability) is  required  .

i hope  i am  clear now  as  for  60  clients  AP -205 would  be   enough  , but  i am  discussing 225 and 325  just  because  i  am  expecting  250 to  300   users in the  coverage  of single IAP .
