Re: IAP to Controler GRE Tunnel

The suetup is outlined in the guide.  http://support.arubanetworks.com/DOCUMENTATION/tabid/77/DMXModule/512/Default.aspx?EntryId=8868

One thing to note is that the APs and Controller must NOT be on the same subnet.

Re: IAP to Controler GRE Tunnel

got it.  you just need to create the tunnel on the controller and point to the IAP that is hosting the VC.  It won't work if it points to the VC address, or at least it didn't when I tried.

On the controller,

interface tunnel 1

description "IAP tunnel"

tunnel source <controller ip>

tunnel destination <IAP ip>

tunnel vlan <x>

trusted

That link is valid even without a login to the support site, but try navigating to http://support.arubanetworks.com/HOME/tabid/37/Default.aspx select 'Documentation' then 'Software User and Reference Guides' select 'Aruba Instant' and pull the guide down for the current 3.4 release of IAP code.
