Problem with IP Class 192.168.10.x and 192.168.11.x

Hello everyone,

I need your help, I have installed 5 IAP-93 on my network, the LAN configuration is 10.10.X.X / 16, with default VLAN.

Everything is ok, until suddenly my friend made a mistake by changing the IP alias on a notebook with IP 192.168.10.31/24, and my network is down. Then I check using wireshark and I find that the traffic is fully filled with LLMNR / NBNS of my friends notebook.

After a few days, I tried the same thing as my friend did, and the result is, when I turn off / disconnect all IAP-93 from the network, there is no problem with IP 192.168.10.31 or 192.168.11.x on my network, so I concluded, there is a problem with my IAP-93.

Please help me to solve the problem, what is wrong with my IAP-93. Is there any correlation with Magic VLAN?

Note, IAP-93 is configured as a standalone AP.

Thank you.

You can check the magic VLAN segment assigment:

Re: Problem with IP Class 192.168.10.x and 192.168.11.x

You can change it in the dhcp options to be whatever you want/need.
