Roaming problems with IAP and WindowsCE devices

Hi

I'm experiencing roaming slow connectivity with Windows CE 6 devices under Aruba instant IAP93 access points.

We have done several installations in logistics and this the first time we see this.

The roaming is randomly very slow and we loose about 10 pings before the client radio connect

When this occurs we do have different type of mesages: here are examples

I've read in this forum people having experienced this replay counter message and the suggestion was to modify the WPA intervalle timeout.

Unfortunately, i cant't find this option on my instant version 6.3.1.8-4.0.0.8_46401

As this is a logistic sitewith high availability needs, i can't make tests as i want.

Can any one help and give any comments suggestions to get better roaming performance??

thx

Elie

Re: Roaming problems with IAP and WindowsCE devices

Hi

For anyone having experienced this problem, be careful when you upgrade the IAP firmware; I had a corrupted config file and corrupted OS;

Downgrading to version 6.2 and making again the config from zero despite reloading solved my pb.

Thanks to those who made attention at this post.
