Troubleshooting options.

Hi all, 

we are using 6 nos of IAP-105 for corp wireless. 

that was working fine but from somedays users are faceing slowness .

 

soo can anyone tell me what are the troubleshooting options for the above scenario.

 

Note: i upgraded the iaps to lwtest firmware   6.4.2.3-4.1.1.2

What is the total number of users on the IAPs and how many SSIDs are you broadcasting?

 

Do you have Broadcast Filter All enabled?

3 ssid is there.

 

20-25 users average.

 

yeah broadcast filter all enabled.

What kinds of clients are having these problems specificially?

Is the slowness to the internet?  What is the internet speed?

check your log security , via ssh
what is your noise levels ?
band steering is enabled ?
clientmatch is enabled ?
are u using wide band in 2.4?

all types of user are facing these problem [slowness in internet, while the connection is 35 mbps]

your switchs are 10/100 or 10/100/1000?
your master is connected as 1000 in eth port ?

Can you share some more info, such as, 

 

1. which Clients are facing issue ? connected to 2.4 or 5 GHz 

2. Clients connected to any AP are facing the issue or all APs

3. Are these IAPs sharing BW with the wired users ?

4. Did you enable Client match ?

5. Did you configure BCMC properly ?

 

Please share the required information. I can help you on this.

my switch is 10/100/1000.

Can you share some more info, such as, 

 

1. which Clients are facing issue ? connected to 2.4 or 5 GHz 

2. Clients connected to any AP are facing the issue or all APs

3. Are these IAPs sharing BW with the wired users ?

4. Did you enable Client match ?

5. Did you configure BCMC properly ?

 

1. both the 2.4 and 5 ghz are facing this issue.

2. client connected to all ap.

3.they sharing B.W with wired users, bt now all are connected to wireless, they dont use wired much.

4. yeah i enabled client match

5.i dont know where to configure BCMC.

If your suffering from the issues in 2.4 & 5 - are u sure your switch is working as 1000 ? are all the leds on the AP's units are green (or some red?)

When u facing slowness,is it to WAN - internet or to LAN - inside?

BCMC - is on your SSID / Adavanced (look on the left middle bottom - you will notice it)
