4306 and NAT

Hi all

Just need some advice we have a 4306 attached directly to a cisco router purely for guest access this router has no NAT,DHCP or VLAN Trunking capability and a public IP of 87.x.x.x with a /29 mask giving 6 hosts 4 of these are already taken one of the remaining addresses is configured as the VLAN 1 interface on the 4306 We have configured another VLAN 2 for the AP's with address 172.16.0.1 and configured the internal DHCP to allocate the addresses to the AP's.
We have also configured the guest vlan 800 with Captive Portal and an open SSID with an IP 192.168.1.1 and enabled internal DHCP scopes for this and enabled source NAT
Clients can pick up a guest IP but are unable to access the Internet we know the CP is working as when we input URL 1.1.1.1 we get the CP Page we cannot ping the cisco router which is why we can't resove DNS so it appears to be a NAT issue

any Idea's:o

Re: 4306 and NAT

IP nat inside.

On any vlan user interface that you want to pass traffic, configure "ip nat inside":

config t
interface vlan 20
ip nat inside

Re: 4306 and NAT

Can you ping the internet, like 4.2.2.2 from the commandline or the diagnostics screen of that controller?
