AP rebooted

Hi ALL,

I have a problem with setting Mesh-link.

last month, I set APs.(two of Mesh-portal, and six of Mesh-point)

When I completed setting APs, I made APs boot.
All APs booted up normaliy.

However, Mesh-point to the number of 4 or 5 were rebooted automatically any number of time.

I wonder APs(Mesh-point) were rebooted any number of time.

I expect that there is not channel APs can use, and APs rebooted itself...

Could you help me solving the problem.:(

Re: AP rebooted

If you type "show ap debug counters" on the commandline, it will tell you if an AP is rebooting or rebootstrapping and how many times.

If you type "show log system 50" you will be able to see AP messages, and possibly why that AP is rebooting.

One thing to keep in mind with mesh is that you can make changes to a mesh cluster profile and it does not take effect until you re-provision a mesh AP. That means, whenever you make a change to a mesh profile, you should reprovision the mesh points FIRST, then reprovision the mesh portal.

Thanks for your reply.

Hi cjoceph,Thank you for advice.
I tried "show logs system all", but I could not get a reason AP rebooted.
but, I found AP rebooted automatically when AP changed channel frequently.
Actually the logs told me AP have changed channel frequently.
but I will continue investigation of the reason.

Re: AP rebooted

Make sure you are upgraded to ARubaOS 5.0.3.0 and try again.
