Configuration Question

I am wanting to know when you setup an Aruba wireless network, do you typically put the controller and AP's in a separate VLAN or do you just leave everything in the same vlan?
Thank you,

Re: Configuration Question

The access points can be in a separate VLAN, and more often than not, they are. Access points look for the host "aruba-master" no matter where they are, so they do NOT have to be in the same VLAN.

Re: Configuration Question

Colin - Just to be clear, doesn't an AP follow this path to find a controller?

1. DHCP option
2. ADP
3. DNS lookup for aruba-master
