DHCP Helper problem

My Wireless Client and Windows DHCP SERVER(windows-server 2003) in different subnet.
Use DHCP Helper to obtain IP.
DHCP SERVER IP is 192.168.1.5.
Client to obtain the subnet is 192.168.12.0/24.
In the user table to find a user with three different IP addresses,
One is 169.254.174.254
The second is 192.168.12.1
The third is 192.168.1.5

I confirm that the DHCP SERVER and will not be allotted on the IP 192.168.1.5
Why CLIENT will get the IP 192.168.1.5

Re: DHCP Helper problem

What is the VLAN interface that the DHCP helper is on?

The client will receive a 169.x.x.x if it did not receive an ip address in time.
The client will also show a second ip address if VMWARE is installed on the client

Turn on DHCP debugging:

config t
logging level debug network subcat dhcp

show log network 50
