Re: Disable SSID

Rodger,

Instead of disabling the SSID, you have to disable the VAP that contains the SSID profile. To do that, go into the VAP (do a "show run", scroll towards the bottom and note the name of the virtual AP (VAP) profile that contains the SSID profile) using the "wlan virtual-ap " command under config mode. From there, you can do "no vap-enable" and the SSID will no longer be active.

Re: Disable SSID

BTW - if you want to delete the SSID profile, you first have to remove the reference to it from the virtual-AP profile using the "no ssid-profile Inap01". Then, you can exit the virtual-ap config and do "no wlan ssid-profile Inap01" and it should allow you to delete the profile (unless it is in use by other virtual-ap profiles).
