Guest users limit

Does anyone know what the limit is on users created with guest provisioning?

We have large groups that come in and it seems to be reaching a point where the username/password stops working. If they try a different username it works.

Thanks,

limits on guest users

Are you saying that there is a limit on the number of guest users created, or the number of guest users logging in?

The local user database for the creation of guest users is rated for 4000 individual guest users and most of that is because it is unwieldy to manage that amount of users from the gui. Depending on your hardware platform, you can have more guest users login to the controller than 4000.

Thank you for replying. What we have is a single username/password created for particular locations. So they are sharing one account.

But it seems when they get to about 30 people using the ID it reaches a limit and won't allow anymore logins with that ID.

If we have them try a different username/password they can get on the guest network.

That should not be

I will say that should not be. Please open a case so that they can get to the bottom of this.
