Changing 3G devices from Storage to Data Mode

Typically the command utilized to perform this change is called 'modeswitch'. The AOS 5.x version has a very nice feature to enable support to modeswitch all kinds of 3G devices from storage to modems. I would search for 'modeswitch' within your documentation set as a next-step.

Re: How to change 3G USB Device type?

I searched, and I don't know what to choose for the Huwaei E1550, is it "eject" or "scsi"?
if i install the same modem, i issue the command:

usb-modeswitch "-v 19d2 -p 0031 -M 55534243123456782000000080000c85010101180101010101000000000000

to flip-flop it to be in the modem mode, but couldn't find how to do it on the controller.

Is this for a remote AP or for a A6xx controller?
