M3 + 3.4.2.4 == no MAC addresses

I recently installed 3.4.2.4 on my M3, and all of a sudden, none of my interfaces have valid MAC addresses. I know that the processor's on-chip Ethernet controller still has a MAC address, because I can see that in the boot-rom, but when I boot into Aruba OS, I get nonsense MAC addresses. I ran into this once before when I had upgraded to 3.3.2.5 way back when. I only started getting MAC addresses again when I upgraded to 3.3.2.17. Has anyone else experienced this? And does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?

Here's some output to illustrate my point:
From cpboot / u-boot :
cpboot> printenv
bootcmd=bootf
bootdelay=5
baudrate=9600
loadaddr=0x87000000
psb_os_cpu_mask=0
bootargs=quiet pinot_bypass=yes
ethaddr=00:0b:86:61:00:a9
stdin=serial
stdout=serial
stderr=serial
ethact=xlr_gmac0

Fromt he Aruba OS:
