Machine Authentication with Win 7 and Win 2008

Hi,

Does anyone has the Machine authentication working with Windows 7 and using Windows 2008 as radius?
I'm still have some issue with this. It's not doing the machine auth part from the windows 7 to the windows 2008.

Remote Access Policy

What does your remote access policy on the Windows 2008 server look like? It is allowing the Windows group "Domain Computers"?

Re: Machine Authentication with Win 7 and Win 2008

Hi,

I tick the allow access box in the computer properties in the AD.
The problem is that the windows 7 is doing User auth or machine auth.
But I'm not able the do them both.
With an XP you can check the box authenticate as computer when computer information is available.

In the advanced properties of the security tab on the WLAN setup, you can force the machine to do both user and machine auth (or only one of them).

Thanx,

I found the solution. In the advanced properties you have only the option of user or machine.
But when you select enable single sign on for this network. it works.

How people here usually configure 2008 NPS Network Policies? Separate policies for user groups and computer groups or all in same policy?
