Management Access from WebUI

Hi all ,

I was trying to set up management access of controller from my home over ADSL link(using Dyndns service instead of dedicated public IP).But it didn't worked when tried from WebUI.Telnet and SSH is working also when I do telnet x.x.x.x 443 the port is opened. Please assist me with possible reasons for failure.

Re: Management Access from WebUI

When you connect to the WebUI, the controller redirects to port 4343, so you would have to open TCP/80 or TCP/443 (or both) AND TCP/4343.

The both port is open in my ADSL router, also I am getting login prompt when I did a telnet to the 80 and 443. Any thing need to be done with certificates?

Re: Management Access from WebUI

You mentioned TCP/80 and TCP/443, but what about TCP/4343? It has to be open for the GUI to work correctly. If the certificate is not trusted by your browser, you will get a warning, but you should still be able to override the security and login.
