5000 vs 6000

Javier,

The MC5000 an MC6000 are chassis and are pretty much the same. What is important is the supervisor card that fits into the chassis. Supervisors that would fit in the chassis are the Sup-1, Sup-2 and M3. Any supervisor, in a 5000 or 6000 can back up any other supervisor in another 5000 or 6000 chassis in a master/local configuration. The 5000/6000 can support a M3 card.
