New Captive Portal Screen

Is there a way to setup a captive portal page that does not have the login component to it? The custom page still has the credentials part showing...

The purpose is, we are finally getting rid of our 40 bit WEP key (over 9 years old!-yes same key) but to ease the students pain, we want them to see that it is now dead and where to go (a stop sign or nag screen if you will).

The page does not take them anywhere it just says, this SSID is dead.

My apprehension is that because they see the credentials screen, they will try to use it and or just call the help desk (because they did not read the screen)...

Re: New Captive Portal Screen

Yeah, you can pull out all the login fields and upload a new HTML file as the top-level login page. I'm attaching a really plain HTML sample (with a .txt extension), but basically all you need to do is make the page you want and upload it as the top-level login page on your controller. Make sure you upload it to the correct profile though.
