PEF Licensing Question

We recently purchased a PEF AP based license for a 804 controller running 3.3.4. We were unable to activate the key on licensing.arubanetworks.com with the error message "This certificate is not compatible with this system!"

I contacted the TAC and they said that this AP based license would not work on a 804 controller as per some licensing matrix. They recommended we get the User based PEF License, so we got LIC-PEF-64, and I am running into the same error message when activating it on licensing.arubanetworks.com

Do we need to be running a specific OS to make these keys work, such as 5.0? Or should they work on 3.3.4 on the 804 controller?

Re: PEF Licensing Question

The 804 controller CANNOT take a user-based PEF license. The only PEF license part you can purchase for the 804 is the LIC-804-PEF
