Provisioning issue

After provisioning my access points, I wanted to assign a static ip address to each. After going through the first 10, 8 went down and were lost and show in a down state. If I ping them with the new ip address, I get an occasional response. Not enough to keep them in an up state.

I've done this before on code 3.4 with no problem. My new controllers are running 5.0.3

Anyone experience this?

Thanks,

Re: Provisioning issue

When provisioning regular CAMPUS access points with a static IP address, the important parameters are:

ip address
subnet mask
default gateway
dns ip address
domain name
Master Controller IP Address/DNS name

If you missed any of the last three parameters, that is why you might be having issues
