Setting up new WLAN for user authentication

Hello everyone! I searched the forums and didn't see this question.

Because of the popularity of smart phones and tablets, it has been requested that I setup a new WLAN/SSID for these specific devices. Currently, we are only setup for machine authetication which was done before my arrival. User authentication is preferable so users can log in with their personal devices and still be able to access the network.
How can that be done? I don't know very much at all. So if you ask me questions I may not have the answer.

Based on your post, I would just use the wizard to create a new ssid and pick captive portal. Then just setup user / pw on the controller.
Let the user pick the ssid, and sign in when redirected to CP.

Yes, the wizard is the way to go.
