Syslog Errors- "PAPI_Send Failed" and "dnsmasq: failed to load names..."

Good Morning.

I am getting two errors sent to my Syslog server that I would like to eliminate.

stm: |stm| PAPI_Send failed: 145; from 8345 to 10.0.0.72:8451 len 19 type 3064

This cycles through every RAP that is connected, so the 10.0.0.XX address changes as it cycles through all connected RAP's

The second error is:
dnsmasq: failed to load names from /etc/ld_ppp_hosts: No such file or directory

This does not happen near as often, but is pretty annoying also.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Syslog Errors- "PAPI_Send Failed" and "dnsmasq: failed to load names..."

What version of code is this?

The first message means that the controller has lost connectivity with the access point....

ArubaOS 5.0.3.0

Lost connectivity? That's curious. How often does it check for the connectivity? How is it checking?

Thanks.

Re: Syslog Errors- "PAPI_Send Failed" and "dnsmasq: failed to load names..."

The first message by itself only a symptom of a bigger issue if you are having connectivity issues. If you are having connectivity issues combined with the first message, you should have a case opened so it can be interpreted correctly. The second message is cosmetic.
