Users' VLAN in Remote Site

Hi all,

I have a controller Aruba 6000 with 3.4 Aruba OS, managing Aruba AP in remote site connect L3 “MPLS”. The switch in the remote site is has its own VLANs and I would like the WLAN users in the remote AP to get their IP addresses from the VLANs on the remote switch. Is it possible? If yes how please?

Thanks,

Remote AP

Youssef,

You will have to configure the access point as a "Remote AP" and then change the Virtual AP forwarding mode to "Bridged". The AP will then bridge all the user traffic locally.

RAP License

You cannot do this without a RAP license in ArubaOS 3.4. ArubaOS 5.0 removes that requirement.
