Users not able to authenticate to Controller for WLAN access.

Aruba Controller 6000

Version: ArubaOS 3.4.0.3 (Digitally Signed - Production Build)

2 Partitions

Here is the issue:

User attempts to connect to the internal WLAN and the laptop can detect the WLAN. However after attempting to connect to the internal WLAN; each user is prompted with a username/password 'Network Authentication' box is displayed. After inputting the proper credentials the 'Network Authentication' box keeps reappearing preventing connectivity to the internal WLAN.

I have looked on the controller and in Active Directory and the users are in the proper groups and should be able to sign on. It appears to be something between AD (Active Directory) and the Controller?

Any suggestions?

Re: Users not able to authenticate to Controller for WLAN access.

Did this ever work, or did it stop working? Have there been any changes?

Turn on logging on the Aruba controller:

config t
logging level debug user
show log user 50

Look in the eventviewer logs on the Windows Radius server so that you can get an idea what is going on.

Could also try to using the server under diagnostic ->aaa test server
select server and try the user account.

Does the AD has a failure code or do you even see a failure?
