WLAN adapter MAC problem

Hi,

we have been facing very unusual problem for sometime. Some users associated with a specific SSID and gets IP from DHCP. When he associates with another SSID and gets IP, he cannot access any network resource, nor even can ping the gateway IP. Even if he moves back to previous SSID the situation remains unchanged.

Please help.

Is this a problem with one user, or all users? Did this ever work?

Hi,

The problem is not with all the users. It happens to some of the users.

Enable Debugging and Monitor

Hi,

The problem is not with all the users. It happens to some of the users.

Isolate one user and enable debugging for that user:

config t
logging level debugging user-debug

Then, check the firewall to see if any traffic is being passed for that user:

The above command will show you what traffic do we see being passed by the user, and if any is being dropped by the firewall.
