aruba 650 OS upgrade

Hi I'm trying to upgrade from v 3.4.2.2 to v 6.1.2.2. Looking at the upgrade path I need to firstly upgrade to the latest version 3.4.4.x before upgrading to 6.1.2.2. Is this the right move since I have downloaded v 3.4.4.3 and tried to upgrade to the non bootable partition, using both the Gui and command line. However I keep getting an illegal file. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: aruba 650 OS upgrade

Did you:

- Download a filename begining with ArubaOS_6xx_ ? (good)
- Change the name of the file? (bad)
- Run and md5 sum on the file to make sure that it was the same file you downloaded? (good)

.4.4.3_28161 file.
Did not change the name and also the checksum was worked out fine.

Internet explorer added the The filename should be just "ArubaOS_6xx_3.4.4.3_28161"

Please rename it and try again.

Re: aruba 650 OS upgrade

Thanks Colin, this sorted it out. I should have looked more carefully at the filename. Fab
