guest credentials allow multiple people to login

We are using captive portal and credential pushed from an airwave server for guest access. currently, if i create a set of credentials for a guest, that guest can login and then hand the credentials off to another person who can also login. Is there a way to make sure that only a single user can be logged in as a guest for any one set of credentials?

Allow Single User login for Captive Portal

mingram,

If you are using ArubaOS 3.4.1 and above, there is a checkbox item in the Captive Portal profile that will restrict users to a single login.

Re: guest credentials allow multiple people to login

ah. what if i'm using rn code with rap 2 & 5? This is a dmz controller.
Guru Elite

Ah

The Remote Networking code does not support that new feature. The next version of ArubaOS code, coming soon, will support the merged functionality of regular Campus ArubaOS, as well as the functionality of the RN code.

Not that it matters here, but 3.4.0 had the single-login functionality as well.

Allow for multiple and single login at once.

Is it possible to create 2 users, one that is restricted to a single connection, and a second one that can be used multiple times, either n times or simply unresticted?

Thanks.

Re: guest credentials allow multiple people to login

It is not. The single sign-on restriction is for the whole WLAN.
