unapproved-factory-cert

Can anyone tell me what this means. This is a new controller with licenses added.

In ArubaOS 6.1 and above control plane security is on, by default. That means you will have to manully approve any access point that attempt to connect to the controller. You can do this through the campus whitelist utility, or you can disable control plane security, or you can enable the "auto cert provisioning" checkbox.
