I noticed today that one of our 3400 master controller is showing alot of APs as being down. I checked Airwave and it shows them as up. I am able to ping the APs even from the controller.
Why is the controller showing them as being down?

-What version of code is this?
- Is that controller a master or a local controller?
- Do you see the APs as down on the commandline, GUI or both?
- type "show ap bss-table" to see if those access points are even broadcasting.

i've seen similar behaviour on a 3200 running 6.1.2.3 and it turned out that the DHCP server had exhausted the scope and the AP's were dropping off the controller and rebooting.
I think there was some double allocation going on that was causing the erratic behaviour.

*Version is 3.4.1.0
*It's a Master
*See them down on the CLI and GUI
*APs that are down are not broadcasting, ones that are up are.
