I'm working on a tender and was wondering if there is some way to let Aruba switches work with Cisco discovery protocol?

HI,
Most of the ArubaOS-Switches support CDP and LLDP (standard). The switches don't generate CDP packets. Reading CDP packets from neighboring devices is supported. All information received is stored in neigboring database. All the information in there can than be viewed with multiple CLI commands.
Hope this anwsers your questions.
Regards, dobias

Greetings!
More information about CDP configuration can be found in the Management and Configuration Guide for each switch model, in the chapter Configuring for Network Management Applications under the heading CDP configuration.
Documentation can be browsed at the HPE Networking Information Library.
