S3500 port shutdown

Hello,

We have a MAS s3500 in a stack running 7.2.0.0 that shows two ports being shutdown because of BPDU Guard, there is no longer anything connected in those two ports how would I proceed to clear those errors?

Thanks

Re: S3500 port shutdown

Usually a shutdown / no shutdown will bring the port back up.

Re: S3500 port shutdown

Switch reboot?? :)

Opening a TAC case will definitely get more eyes on this.

Re: S3500 port shutdown

Use this CLI:

clear port-error-recovery

(ArubaS1500-24P) #show interface gigabitethernet 0/0/22 | include shutdown
Port shutdown reason : BPDU received

(ArubaS1500-24P) #show port-error-recovery

Layer-2 Interface Error Information
