Aruba Central Splash page size for mobile phones

    Hi experts,

     

    I have configured a splash page in Aruba Central to use the captive portal page for guests. I have uploaded a logo and a background image. When I access the guest network from my laptop the page looks fine, but when I access the guest network from my mobile, the page doesn't fit to the mobile screen, the background is too large, I can only see 1/4 of the background due to the large size, and the logo is large too. Have anyone faced this problem with Aruba Central and mobile phones?

    Any idea about this? Attached images of the splash page when connecting to guest network from a laptop and from a mobile phone.

    Did you solve the problem? What is the size of the image that is recommended so that it does not happen?

    Hola Sebastian , he realizado algunas pruebas y he sacado las siguientes conclusiones:

     

    • Se recomienda colocar la imagen del logo de la empresa en el campo “logo” (valga la redundancia) con una imagen de formato “jpeg” o “png” que tenga un tamaño apróximado de 342 x 135 pixeles. Ver el archivo adjunto llamado “png”
    • Con este tamaño se puede presentar el logo sin cortarse, en un teléfono móvil Samsung J5, con un tamaño de pantalla de 5” y una resolución de 1280x720. Adjunto archivo de muestra llamado “Screenshot_20180126-001032.png”
    • Con este tamaño se alcanzan a ver los campos de las credenciales en la pantalla del móvil. 
    • Envio también archivo llamado “png” con la imagen original de como se ve el portal cautivo en un laptop con resolución de 1920x1080

    Espero que con esta información puedan hacer los ajustes a los tamaños de las imágenes con el fin de tener una mejor visualización en los dispositivos móviles.
