It is getting close to summer and class is out, so there are going to be alot of upgrades and changes. If you have had to do an upgrade on an Aruba Controller, and you wanted to keep track of how many APs are upgrading, rebooting, up or down. This is even more important when you are upgrading remote APs. The "show ap database-summary" command provides this information for you, all in one place:

(M3.arubanetworks.com) #show ap database-summary

AP Database Summary
-------------------
AP Mode Total Up Total Down Total Upgrading* Total Rebooting* RAP Up RAP Down RAP Upgrading* RAP Rebooting*
------- -------- ---------- ---------------- ---------------- ------ -------- -------------- --------------
Access Points 22 113 0 0 22 113 0 0
Air Monitors 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Wired Access Points 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0
Mesh Portals 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Mesh Points 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

*Upgrading and Rebooting counts only reflect APs registered on this controller.
