Policy Based Routing in Mobility Access Switch

Scenario: You have one ISP-1 link say 100Mbps and another ISP-2 link say 20 Mbps. You want to allow only Corporate users to use ISP-1 link and Guest Users to use ISP-2 link, this is the feature for you.

Policy Based Routing is a feature introduced in MAS in 7.3.

 

Below is how a policy is created for PBR. In the below example I have taken 172.16.3.x as a subnet available in the Internet.

You can verify the PBR contents with the below commands.

Apply this to the Guest user VLAN.

You can use the below command to check if the stateless acl has got applied.

To check if the Policy is getting hits and the packets are getting routed with a different Next hop, below command can be used.
